Spanish classes

I would highly recommend Marisol and her wonderful team of professional Spanish teachers at www.spanishalacolombiana.com from Colombia. It is never too late to start or restart whichever level you are at. Our first language (after colonization) is a part of who we are and learning it can be a way to reclaim that part of our identity. I have met Marisol in person who understands the complexies as we learn Spanish. She is in the picture on the left!

Dr. Susan Branco is a fellow Colombian adoptee and friend that has done extensive research regarding our experience as it relates to adoption in Colombia. The adoptee consciousness model that she co-created with her colleagues is enlightining.

Alianza of Colombian adoptees

This adoptee led organization also has very useful resources and offers small grants for adoptee well-being :) Joy is a Korean adoptee and co -founder with whom I have been able to meet and collaborate with :) She really is a joy!

Just an FYI, venmo does not work here in Colombia. If Zelle or Paypal do not work for you, a direct transfer to Wells Fargo can be made as well.
