It is never too late to start or restart whichever level you are at. Our first language (after colonization) is a part of who we are and learning it can be a way to reclaim that part of our identity. I have met Marisol in person who understands the complexies as we learn Spanish. She is in the picture on the left!

ICAV Intercountry Adoptee Voices

This adoptee led organization has fantastic resources and information for transracial adoptees adopted from countries outside of the United States. Lynelle Long is a vietnamese adoptee who has done extenstive advocacy for the last 20 years or so for the international adoptee collective.
