Bogota Meet up 2025!
Sometimes the hardest part of returning to Colombia is the time leading up to the trip…preparing not only logistically but emotionally and spiritually. Taking a glimpse of what perhaps your life could have been, rediscovering parts of your identity, and embracing aspects of yourself that may have been ignored or overlooked by adoptive family or other loved ones is not for the faint of heart. It can be done though with support by creating a flexible itinerary, arranging transportation, interpretation as needed, and our supportive community.
We now have the dates for this years 3rd Annual adoptee meet up! . This group was was created in 2021 after locating first mothers and seeing the importance for them to have a community that also went through similar experiences regarding adoption in Colombia. Clic picture to learn and see more!
This August 2024 we had a community meet up in Bogotá for adoptees to rediscover and reintegrate Colombia culture. We had an unforgettable and meaningful time. We hope to do this each year and continue to provide travel scholarships for adoptees that have not been able to return yet but would like to. Click on the picture for more pictures!

The 2nd annual Bogotá meet up was about community, belonging, and celebrating who we are. I am and was honored to host this amazing group of about 20 Colombian adoptees who took the leap to reconnect with their homeland and themselves.
